We had been looking for a place in Sonoma and when one that looked perfect popped up, we went to visit with Becky right away. Offers weren’t due for another week, but Becky devised a strategy where we wrote an offer 2 days early with a 3 day expiration to let them know how serious we were and that we were willing to wait and were not trying to pressure them. They received 7 offers on offer date and I got nervous and wanted to raise our offer. Becky told us that we could be bidding against ourselves and that we should hold tight. Sure enough, our offer was accepted just as it was and even though it was the same price as a competing offer. They chose ours because they liked it that we had come forward early and had not pressured them. The strategy proved successful and we are so grateful for the guidance we got from Becky.
